#10: Numeral Lamp

An exploration of number forms as spatial objects.
Objectives:

• Treat numerals as sculptural forms rather than symbolic language

• Explore spatial relationships through volume, depth, and structure

Created a new graphic exploration of 3d numeral forms

• Used the serif typeface ‘Bodoni’ for its playful curves and strong contrast

• Focused on the numeral ‘3’ for the final iteration due to its balance in form and rhythm

• Prototype using plywood

• Test notch systems for structural stability and assembly

• Explore compatibility with light bulb placement and wiring
