"Two Hands and Two Feet" is an experimental piece crafted entirely from edible bread. Bread holds a profound significance for me, serving as a symbol of my career as a baker while I was suffering from anxiety. In this piece, I integrated bread into my creative passions, drawing parallels between the unpredictable expansion of bread and the uncontrollable nature of my anxiety.
The form of anxiety often emerges unexpectedly, rapidly enveloping my mind and body. I chose to symbolize this experience through the representation of my hands and feet, the most sensitive areas to anxiety within my body. The intricate process of forming a rough silhouette of these body parts proved to be a challenging yet cathartic journey. To further elevate the artistic impact, I arranged the pieces in a configuration mirroring the human body. Pedestals were strategically leveled to each representation of its corresponding level.
