netflix product design
product design, brand strategy, ux/ui
As part of this Netflix case study, I analyzed common user pain points around content discovery—specifically decision fatigue, inconsistent horizontal/vertical layouts, and difficulty choosing something to watch in groups or on mobile. To address these challenges, I created two new product features designed to modernize Netflix’s mobile experience through clearer UX flows, mobile-first interaction patterns, and strong design-system thinking.
JigSaw Puzzle tackles the problem of indecisive viewers and group decision-making. Teaser Marathon reimagines Netflix’s traditionally horizontal browsing structure for mobile. quicker decisions and greater engagement.
‘Jigsaw Puzzle’ An interactive recommendation tool that breaks content discovery into a playful, puzzle-inspired interface to help indecisive users quickly narrow down their options.
Product thinking focused on reducing browsing time, improving personalization, and creating an engaging discovery flow for both individual and group users.
‘Teaser Marathon' A rapid swipe-based preview system that adapts Netflix teasers to vertical browsing.
